Jenny Macdonald Writer & Performer

Jenny Macdonald is a writer, performer, director and facilitator. Recent credits include as director/performer This Was Never Going to Be Normal (Deirdre Murphy & Rebecca Reilly, Galway Theatre Festival); as director Can’t See the Woods for the Trees (Doors to Elsewhere Ensemble, Rua Red Gallery); as performer Capitalism: The Musical! by Deirdre Murphy (Galway Theatre Festival, XM24 and Next Emerson, Italy); and as director/facilitator the development of Falling by SoloSIRENs Collective as part of Abbey Theatre 5 x 5. She is a mentor to Freshly Ground Theatre Company and served as dramaturg on their Dublin Fringe show Ode to a Postcode. She was a participant on Lead Role, a development programme for women artists run by Theatre Forum, Ireland and Kultur Vast, Sweden. She is an alumnus of Dublin Theatre Festival’s artist development programme, The Next Stage. She is a tutor on New York University’s Masters in Community-Engaged Theatre and an Associate Artist with Tallaght Community Arts.


Joe Salvatore Director & Dramaturg

Joe Salvatore is the creator and director of the Verbatim Performance Lab whose performed investigations include The Democratic Field 1 & 2, The Serena Williams Project, The Kavanaugh Files, The Grab 'Em Tapes, The Lauer/Conway Flip, and Of a Certain Age (in collaboration with The Actors Fund). In 2017, Joe collaborated with economist Maria Guadalupe (INSEAD-France) to create Her Opponent, a verbatim re-staging of excerpts of the 2016 U.S. presidential debates with gender-reversed casting. The Off Broadway production of that project was nominated for an Off Broadway Alliance Award for Best Unique Theatrical Experience and was covered by The Pat Kenny Show, NPR, The New York Times, The Guardian, MSNBC, and Fox News, among others. Troy Hourie Designer & Maker

Troy Hourie is a scenographer and installation artist. Scenographer for 350+ productions for various off-Broadway, regional and opera companies across the USA, Canada and internationally; including Glimmerglass Festival, The New Victory, New York Theatre Workshop, Cherry Lane Theatre, Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Guthrie and Classical Theatre of Harlem. Installations include: Escape to Beira, ARTErra Portugal, Apparitions Attic, Arteles Finland, and Static Apnea, Performance Arcade, NZ. Art commissions: The Wisdom Tree, Glimmerglass Festival and Espreitar Tondela, Arterra, Tondela, Portugal. Recent: Freaks, Ei! Michelle Cahill Producer (First Fortnight & Fringe NYC)

Michelle Cahill is a producer & performer. She studied dance-theatre and performance in Yorkshire, London and Limerick and performed extensively throughout Europe before returning to Ireland in 2001. As a producer for theatre and dance she has worked with Junk Ensemble, Iseli-Chiodi Dance Company, Liv O’Donoghue, Joanne Ryan, Martin Sharry Art and Cathy Coughlan, and she is the producer for Turf by Rowan Tolley Company, UK. Michelle is the programme coordinator at Shawbrook LD Dance since 2012. Her solo show Thirteen Steps to the Attic premiered in 2018 and continues to tour. www.maydaycreates.com
